thickness of night
hearing the call

gently but urgently repeats
Until I sit now
Breathing
Listening
Cat a-purr in my lap
Stars brilliant all around
My soul calling out for itself:
Wake up
Open your eyes
Be a strong heart
A true heart
Live your joy
Dive deep.
