The Season's Best Gift—in these challenging times

There’s a lot going on for all of us these days. Least ways, sure seems that way in my corner of the world.
I’ve been in some  deep incubation, too deep to come up for the air of a creative post in a while… and not wanting to add to any of the noise in my or your world, it seemed best to stay quiet and listen. And right now, that seems like the season’s best gift I can give to myself, to those I love, and to the strangers I’ll encounter on the road as I travel these next few days.
I’m looking to ‘show-up’, to be present and available, to hold an open heart and mind, be willing to be changed, to listen below the level of words to what is happening in people’s lives…
Our challenges are many, and our hearts are big enough to to guide us through. You might want to mossydestress_kit_banner_ad_07 over to HearthMath and pick up your free De-Stress Kit too. It’ll help you listen to your own heart better, as well as to the one in the chest of someone important to you… and maybe even to the Heart of the World… who knows? Check it out!
Remember, be well, and stay wild! this Holiday Season.

The current financial crisis in our country is calling people to give more of themselves, not of what they have, or what they do, but of who they are at heart. — Lazaris

Ah. “Showing-up.” That’s the difficult part, isn’t it? First you must arrive physically. Then mentally and finally, emotionally. And after all that, you have to listen. Really listen.
Makes me tired just thinking about it. But I’ll give it a try, right after a nap.

I share the feeling of not wanting to add to the noise and confusion. I appreciate the importance of staying quiet and listening. For waht? for me it’s the inner guidance to do or not do, and to honor what ever it is I get. Thanks for the post.
P.S. I’m a HeartMath fan. Their researched approach works.

Thanks for the comment, Barbara. For readers, I want to encourage a visit to Barbara’s blog and website. There is obviously a lot of deep listening and creative reflection going on there.
For any who might want to learn more of the Heartmath approach, my post Heart Opportunity Knocking at Your Door contains links and information. :
